Quality Reviews
Strategic Unit Reviews

A starting point in understanding the need for strategic and support audits is to realise that the academic project is central to the function and success of the educational quality system.
Every activity on campus is seen to affect the overall learner experience and level of educational risk to the student. It is with this purpose in mind that strategic and support audits are to be undertaken.
Both qualitative and quantitative evidence will need to be provided. These audits lead to the development of a portfolio by the Directors and Heads of Department containing the information responding to the criteria for each unit's policies, systems, strategies and resources for assuring, developing and monitoring the unit's quality.
The recommendations from these audit reports will be useful for continuous quality improvement. Surveys should be done as part of a unit's audits. Statistical analysis on these may be required to look for trends and patterns.
