Research and Postgraduate Studies

The Department of Research and Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Education provides workshops and seminars to students on qualitative research methodologies and theoretical frameworks in Education research. We also draw on the skills of supervisors in the Faculty in sub-disciplines in Education offered in the Faculty, including management and leadership, maths and science education, early childhood education, inclusive education, literacy and numeracy studies, children’s literature, and social issues in education. Visiting academics, researchers, and student-run seminars allows for great intellectual interchange. We also offer staff capacity building in research, scholarly writing, and publication workshops.
